This is my largest drawing. I actually had to cut this from a large sheet of paper. It's basically some thick construction board with a sanded surface that I put on. This drawing was my greatest challenge in second year art class. I had to decide what I was going to draw, and how to draw it. I chose to focus on glass and use fruit to create a still-life. I had to set up this still-life myself, including lighting. I really wanted to capture the light refractions onto the cloth and also the complex reflections and highlights on the glass. Honestly, it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, but I still like it a lot.
